Real Conversations. Real Change.
Therapy with me isn’t stiff or clinical. We’ll laugh, we’ll be real, and we’ll sit together in the hard places when life hurts. And because I care about your growth, I’ll gently challenge the stories and beliefs that keep you stuck. My goal is simple: to help you realign with who you are and the love you’re wired for.
At the center of my work is one belief: we are wired to love. But to love others fully, we have to learn to love ourselves first. That’s often where the real work begins.
What It’s Like to Work With Me
I love to laugh, and you’ll probably find that we laugh together, even on hard days. Humor has a way of making room for healing.
I can also sit with you in the heaviest moments. Grief, loss, and tragedy don’t scare me. You won’t have to soften your pain to make me comfortable.
And I’ll challenge you, gently but honestly. If the story you’re telling yourself is keeping you stuck, or a belief is holding you back, I’ll ask you to look at it with fresh eyes. Real change happens when we’re both willing to be honest.
My Approach
With couples, I use the Gottman Method, a research-based approach built on decades of study into what makes relationships last. I’ve completed Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman training, and I use those tools to help couples manage conflict, deepen intimacy, and rebuild trust.
With individuals, both men and women, I draw on Narrative Therapy. Together we explore the stories you’ve been carrying about who you are and what you deserve, and we make room for new ones. I also use Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), so our work always moves at a pace that feels safe for you.
With families, I create a space where every voice is heard and where family members can learn to understand each other in new ways.
Faith-integrated, for those who are seeking it.
My Christian faith shapes how I see people: as worthy of love and capable of change. I’m happy to bring faith and scripture into our work when it’s meaningful to you. All are welcome here, and therapy will always be centered on your values.
